Adobe Lightroom is a superb tool for photographers with any expertise level who need to edit and organize their images. This 6-week class will prepare you to use the software to edit and organize photos quickly and efficiently. Through hands-on exercises, you will learn to use it like a pro and perfect your digital photos beyond what you might imagine!
Topics to include:
- How to import images from your computer
- How to view and compare images in the Library Module
- Renaming selected images and their folders
- Creating image collections
- Exporting images in various formats and sizes
- Using the Develop module tools
- How to reduce any noise and sharpen the image
- Correcting lens distortion for specific lenses
- How to create a book, web gallery, or slideshow
- Printing photos to a local printer
- And much more
Please Note: Adobe offers multiple versions of Lightroom: “Lightroom Classic” the desktop-based version and “Lightroom” the desktop cloud-based version, as well as “Lightroom Mobile” for phones and tablets. Although this course is written for Lightroom Classic specifically, Lightroom CC and Lightroom Mobile will briefly be touched upon but not covered extensively. If you have a specific question regarding these, please email me in advance.
Software requirements:
- Adobe Lightroom Classic latest version with updates
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Browser: Safari, Firefox or other compatible
**All software much be installed and operational prior to the beginning of the first class**
Hardware requirement:
•Mac or PC laptop with at least 2 GB available RAM for large files and storage space for images.
